Welcome to Embodied Connections Counseling

To be embodied means to feel fully in touch with ourselves – holistically nurturing all of our feelings, bodily sensations, values, and identities.

We all want to feel at home in our own bodies. At the same time, many of us develop valid ways of surviving in the world which protect us from harm, yet can become unsustainable or disconnecting over time.

Therapy can provide a safe, inviting pathway back to yourself. As a therapist, my aim is to promote a warm, relational presence that allows you to rediscover connection with yourself and those around you.

Commitment to Diversity

At Embodied Connections Counseling, all lived experiences related to race, class, spirituality, sexuality, gender, body size, health status, and ability status are welcome and celebrated. I reject and actively work to disrupt acts of racism, xenophobia, colonialism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, sizeism, ableism, healthism, classism, and ageism. When it comes to addressing oppression-based trauma in therapy, I am committed to holding systems accountable and trusting the wisdom of your lived experiences.
